Jonathan Murrell is a young painter from Franklin, Tennessee.  He started painting at 12 and hasn’t stopped.  His first show was at the Astra Gallery in Manila, Philippines in 2007.   His early paintings were influenced heavily by Monet and other impressionists, but recently he’s been experimenting with new techniques and subjects.  He has traveled his whole life and loves taking inspiration from his trips.  His favorite paintings are those from places he’s been or wants to visit!
